Why prevention matters
A check-up every six months allows early detection of problems before they develop into complex, costly treatments. Tartar, if left untreated, damages the gums and leads to periodontitis.
What the appointment includes
- Examination of teeth and gums
- Ultrasonic tartar removal
- Polishing with Air-Flow or paste
- Fluoride treatment where needed
- Personalised home hygiene advice
Recommended frequency
Twice a year for most patients. For those with a higher risk of periodontal disease — every 3–4 months.
